Talnery - Hard-shelled, cave-dwellers of the lower mountains. They hoard the crystalline drippings from the lower chambers and feed off the residual energy. Their slender bodies can twist and turn at extreme angles allowing them to clamber onto most surfaces, and squeeze through tight crevices. Their cranial sensor can detect the faintest noise, change in light or even smell, making them near-impossible to evade.
Frigride - Large beings that dwell near the larger lakes. They sport thick rubbery tentacles through which they feed, the jaws on each end absently grabbing and chewing at anything it can find for substance. They live nomadically, abandoning their eggs at the water edge, drenched in a sticky acid as their only protection.
Calgshawn - Tribal society of insectoid shamans. They live peacefully with the land, tending to their world. They build gardens and trade tools with the other races. Their bony shells are softer than most other beings, so they create an amour from the sap of Vein trees.
Templited - Mystics of the ash plateau. Their bodies are weak and are held together purely by thought, nourished by their own minds. Each has a unique rune carved upon their heads which focusses their powers, giving them the abilities of flight, telekinesis and more. They are incapable of reproducing and so keep their distance from other races as much as possible.
Rackter - Fleshy bone-scalped beasts that feed off carrion. They dwell in small towns amongst the stone valleys, carving homes with their sharp beaks. They are gifted with delicate hands and are known for making trinkets, small tools and statues.
Gasborne - Large rock-valley creatures. Their upper bodies are plated in woven chitin, including a mask across the face that grows unique for each one. The lower body is a boulder of bone that grows many spines. Both halves are connected by a tough mound of flesh that excretes a slippery liquid that helps the creature to travel along the ground. The spines can pierce and drain a creatures body quickly. A mixture of internal gases and toxins from its prey are released in a constant stream from its scalp.
Oily Bones - Horrors of the lowest caverns. The thick dark fluid that compromises their bodies is highly acidic and can melt flesh in moments. The skeletal structure is merely manipulated refuse that the creature uses as tools.
